Our basic system for any size Grand Piano. Covers the entire range of the piano keyboard in three regions to insure uniform volume from every note. Our standard passive control box allows simple adjustments to the volumes of each section of the keyboard, and provides both a mic-level mono output via the XLR connector, and an instrument-level high-impedance mono output via a 1/4" phone jack. Installs in minutes without tools or harm to the piano. This is the unit we recommend for 90% of our applications.
The New Stereo passive control box provides stereo outputs in both XLR and 1/4” connectors. Low notes on the piano are routed Left, high notes are routed Right, and middle notes appear proportionally in both channels. A simple upgrade for older models that originally came with the standard mono passive control box. A massive improvement in sonic image for live-streaming and recording applications.
